The documentary program “Challenger Tomohisa Yamashita” (10 episodes in total), which focuses on Tomohisa Yamashita ’s “challenge”, will start streaming from August 31st.

In the first episode, we decided to film on location in South Korea at the request of the person himself! Yamashita, who loves Korean food, enjoys recharging his energy with Korean food at restaurants he has always wanted to visit, while also delving into the truth behind why he came to Korea.

Yamashita has commented on the distribution decision.

When I heard the title "Challenger Tomohisa Yamashita", I honestly thought it was okay to raise the bar so high? That's what I thought (laughs). I feel a little nervous when it comes up as a title, but I always try to remember my desire to take on the challenge.
I have a lot of friends in Korea and I love Korean food, so I chose Korea as my destination. The other day, I came to Korea to promote a movie, and I felt like I wanted to stay a little longer. I just arrived in Korea and haven't been anywhere yet, so this time I want to go to delicious restaurants and visit various places. I think there are people all over the world who are working hard in various fields, so I would like to meet many people through this program and hear their various stories.
I would like the viewers to take it easy and not raise the bar. It's my first experience, so there are a lot of things I don't understand, but I hope everyone enjoys it. I'm sure you'll see new scenery, so please take a look!
