It has been announced that Tomohisa Yamashita will star in the drama series ``Blue Moment,'' which will be broadcast on Fuji TV every Wednesday from 10:00 pm starting in April.

This drama is based on the comic book of the same name, and tells the story of the struggles of members of the Special Disaster Management (SDM) Headquarters who risk their lives on the front lines to protect human lives threatened by severe weather disasters. Yamashita will play the role of a meteorological genius who is the chief/weather researcher at SDM headquarters and also serves as a weather caster for a news program.

This will be his first lead role in a drama on Fuji TV in seven years, since ``Code Blue -Doctor Heli Emergency Lifesaving- 3rd season'' (July 2017).
