Tomohisa Yamashita was appointed Friends of the House, Moët & Chandon's Chief Vinification Officer Benoit Goyès came to Japan to discuss the Maison with Yamashita.

During a talk session held at a special pairing dinner held at the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, Yamashita made the following comments and celebrated the 280th anniversary of the founding of the Maison.

“When I visited the Maison, I was really moved by the history and nature of Champagne. Every time I drink Moët & Chandon Champagne, I think of my visit to the Maison. It was impressive that each year had completely different personalities, and each one had very distinct characteristics.

After seeing ``Drops of God,'' I started learning about wine and champagne, and I wanted to go on more adventures. I also like to enjoy champagne with meals, usually with my loved ones. When I went to Montparnasse for a photo shoot, I was deeply moved by the combination of a simple fish dish and champagne I ate at a restaurant.

I think Moët & Chandon has the power to change the atmosphere of a place for the better. I want to enjoy it at celebrations with friends and family, or when it's special for me."
